Brain needed Vitamin D
Fish is good for the old folk’s grey. The highest protein of fish is considered as brain ‘food’ besides has been proven consisted vitamin D by scientist in the University of Manchester. The oily fish is good for improving the brain functioning in middle aged and older man.
Lead author Dr David Lee, in Manchester’s School of Translational Medicine, said, “Previous studies exploring the relationship between vitamin D and cognitive performance in adults have produced inconsistent findings but we observed a significant, independent association between a slower information-processing speed and lower levels of vitamin D.”…healthscape.net
Vitamin D helps prolong the mental regression that can effect people in the old age. Scientists have produced more evidence that vitamin D has an important role in keeping the brain in good working order in later life.
